Role Summary

The Senior Researcher role offers a unique opportunity to engage at the cutting edge of computer science research and technology development, collaborating with world-class colleagues on significant research challenges. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in AI Systems, including skills in CUDA/GPU programming and optimization, model serving and inference engine optimization, storage systems and key-value cache management, as well as high-performance networking and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scientific and analytical research tackling open-ended problems and explore novel ideas and evolving research directions.
• Adapt to various roles within research efforts based on project needs.
• Collaborate closely with researchers, engineers, product teams, and internal and external partners to advance research towards influential publications and impact industry standards.
• Mentor and lead interns and other team members, while also benefiting from mentorship opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• Proficient programming abilities and strong communication skills to drive research projects end-to-end — from concept to deployment.
• Ability to thrive in highly collaborative work environments.
