Senior Recruiter

Overview

This Senior Recruiter position at Cielo Talent is designed for an experienced professional to lead and enhance the recruitment lifecycle. As a brand ambassador, you will focus on attracting outstanding talent while providing clear and timely communication about the recruitment processes. The role includes offering strategic guidance and industry insights to hiring managers and mentoring junior recruiters.

Location and Work Arrangement

• Workplace: 7070 Mississauga Rd, Mississauga, ON L5N 5M8, Canada
• Work setup: Hybrid model
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
• Languages: Fluency in both French and English is required

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth intake meetings with hiring managers to clarify job requirements and provide market-based advice.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders across departments to formulate and implement recruitment marketing and sourcing strategies.
• Assess candidate qualifications compared to job criteria and develop strong candidate slates and talent pools.
• Maintain candidate engagement by providing regular updates on their application status.
• Advise hiring managers on offer details guided by market data and company compensation policies.
• Provide mentoring support for recruiters and team members to foster professional growth.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of seven years in comprehensive talent acquisition roles handling full-cycle recruitment in various Canadian business sectors.
• Strategic thinker with robust abilities in managing relationships with leaders at all organizational levels.
• Exceptionally organized, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Consultative approach acting as a strategic business partner rather than just operational.
• Experience working in large, global matrix organizations is essential; prior exposure to the life sciences industry is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, human resources, or a comparable field—or equivalent professional experience.
• Successful track record in recruitment, either corporate, agency, or RPO environment.
• Proficient with recruitment technologies such as Applicant Tracking Systems and social media recruiting platforms.
• Understanding of HR principles and performance metrics related to talent acquisition.
• Industry-specific knowledge relevant to niche sectors is an advantage.

Compensation

Annual salary for this role is USD 76,100.
