Role Overview

As a Senior R&D Engineer specializing in Drilling, you will leverage your extensive drilling experience to innovate, design, engineer, and implement a transformative drilling technology. This is one of the initial engineering hires in the drilling domain at Hades, offering a unique chance for significant influence from the outset. Collaboration with the founding technical team and a multidisciplinary group of engineers, geologists, and scientists will be central to advancing ultra-deep drilling solutions that are both efficient and cost-effective.

Candidate Requirements

  • At least five years of research and development experience focused on drilling equipment, particularly in high-temperature high-pressure (HTHP) environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of novel drilling methods and equipment.
  • Proven leadership skills managing drilling R&D projects through all phases, from inception to delivery.
  • Academic background with a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to relocate or reside in the greater Munich region.
