Senior Radiographer

Job Overview

This position involves working within the tertiary Neuroradiology department at The James Cook University Hospital, with rotations across multiple modalities and community imaging locations managed by the Trust.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine imaging procedures including CT, MRI, and Vascular imaging as a skilled practitioner.
• Collaborate actively within a multidisciplinary team focused on patient-centered care delivered in a safe, respectful environment upholding privacy and dignity.
• Develop proficiency in additional neuroradiology modalities to enhance patient service capabilities.
• Contribute to high-quality compassionate care, supporting the specialty's clinical knowledge and skills advancement.
• Adhere strictly to Trust policies regarding patient and personal safety, infection control, and professional conduct.
• Participate in the departmental on-call rota to ensure continuous service provision.
• Deliver specialist clinical advice and services related to neuroradiological imaging including CT, MRI, and vascular procedures.
• Operate as an autonomous clinical practitioner following occupational protocols, Trust regulations, and departmental procedures.
• Maintain excellent standards of patient care, monitor existing workflows, and suggest improvements for service enhancement.
• Be flexible to work across sites under both South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust within University Hospitals Tees.
