About the Role

• Three vacancies exist across Experienced QS, Senior QS, and Assistant Director QS levels.
• This is a permanent role based in Glasgow with a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

• Provide both pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying services across diverse projects.
• Develop cost plans, prepare estimates, set budgets, and conduct feasibility analyses.
• Oversee procurement activities including preparing tender documents and analyzing bids.
• Generate detailed cost reports, valuations, and recommend payment schedules.
• Ensure stringent financial management throughout all project stages.
• Conduct value engineering, manage risks, and handle change control procedures.
• Negotiate and finalize accounts effectively.
• Supervise projects from feasibility through to completion.
• Establish and maintain robust relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Guide and mentor junior quantity surveyors to support their professional growth.
• Contribute to business development efforts and assist in acquiring new contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Around five years of consultancy experience post-qualification.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated expertise in pre- and post-contract quantity surveying.
• Familiarity with JCT and NEC contract frameworks.
• Track record of managing projects spanning multiple sectors.
• Excellent communication and client engagement skills with strong stakeholder management.
• Good commercial insight coupled with problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• A proactive, collaborative, and well-organized working style.
• Possession of a valid full UK driving license.
