This role demands overseeing quality assurance and control across disciplines including Civil, Architectural, Fit-Out, Structural, MEP, ELV, and External works to ensure timely and acceptable project completion.
Key Responsibilities

- Maintain an updated tracker for all consultant and client feedback such as WIR comments, NCRs, snags, and technical notes.
- Assign comments clearly to responsible construction teams or subcontractors with specific deadlines for completion.
- Follow up daily on all pending comments until physical fixes, reinspections, and formal closures are achieved.
- Flag and escalate any delayed or overdue comments impacting progress, inspections, or handover.
- Confirm that rectifications meet standards before consultant reinspections are requested.
- Prevent recurring consultant comments by ensuring previous issues are resolved prior to subsequent submissions.
- Prepare, submit, and track inspection records including WIRs, MIRs, testing documentation, and QA/QC paperwork.
- Coordinate closely with construction, engineering, MEP, planning teams, and subcontractors to rapidly resolve quality issues.
- Review all relevant documents such as approved drawings, ITPs, method statements, and material approvals ahead of execution.
- Aim to minimize rejected inspections, NCRs, repeated comments, and rework.
- Drive the achievement of weekly targets for the clearance of NCRs, consultant comments, and punch lists.
- Support testing, commissioning, as-built documentation, and handover processes.
- Participate in client and consultant inspections as needed, providing technical clarifications.
- Maintain a strong onsite presence, including willingness for extended hours or shifts dictated by project demands.
Performance Metrics
- Track number and age of open comments from consultants.
- Monitor weekly comment closure rates and adherence to target deadlines.
- Manage turnaround time for WIRs/MIRs approvals.
- Reduce Code C/rejected inspections and improve NCR closure rates.
- Decrease the frequency of repeated comments and rework instances.
- Ensure timely closure of snag and punch lists aligned with construction schedules.
- Maintain readiness for inspections relative to construction progress and final handover.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or related field.
- At least 10 years of solid QA/QC experience within construction projects.
- Demonstrated ability to handle fast-paced, high-pressure projects effectively.
- Experience with luxury hotels, hospitality, or complex multidisciplinary fit-out projects is highly desirable.
- Comprehensive understanding of drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements, WIRs, MIRs, NCRs, and inspection protocols.
- Preferred experience within Saudi Arabia or GCC region.
- Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills in English.
