Job Profile
We are looking for a senior proposal writer passionate about managing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and crafting compelling value propositions. This role involves working closely with partners and leaders across various practice and industry groups to create winning proposals for private and public sector clients.
The position requires overseeing proposal projects from initiation to final submission, handling a diverse range of deliverables including concise letters and detailed multi-volume state government responses, in Word and PowerPoint formats.
Key Responsibilities and Attributes
- Identify unique value propositions and competitive advantages tailored to each business opportunity
- Conduct detailed interviews with executives and technical personnel
- Manage multiple proposal deadlines efficiently, anticipating and addressing potential obstacles
- Demonstrate flexibility, positivity, and proactive enthusiasm in tackling new challenges
- Maintain a keen attention to detail throughout all tasks
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business (preferably Marketing), Communications, English, or related fields
- 7 to 10+ years of relevant experience in proposal writing or marketing communications, preferably within professional services firms
- Proven expertise managing the complete proposal lifecycle
