Role Overview

The Senior Projects Manager leads and oversees fast-track fit-out projects across various sectors including hospitality, hotels, upscale residences, palaces, food & beverage, retail, entertainment, healthcare, and education. The role ensures projects are financially viable, delivered on schedule, within budgets, and maintained at high-quality standards throughout.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate in formulating and implementing business development strategies aligned to company goals.
• Initiate and cultivate relationships with new clients and attend industry events to monitor market and creative trends.
• Manage the entire tendering process.
• Identify project stakeholders and devise communication plans.
• Develop comprehensive project management plans and timelines.
• Ensure clarity in assigned activities to all stakeholders.
• Plan procurement activities inline with project schedules.
• Assess risks and establish risk management strategies.
• Set project objectives, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and selecting subcontractors.
• Coordinate with the project team to optimize resource use including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Oversee project operations through coordination of planning, design, estimation, contracting, and construction.
• Maintain accurate, ongoing records documenting construction progress.
• Supervise construction sites along with vendor and trade management.
• Provide regular operational updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain strong client communication at all times.
• Manage and coordinate project execution ensuring thorough monitoring and control of all work.
• Recruit, develop, and lead the project team effectively.
• Conduct procurement as per project schedule and distribute updated project information.
• Implement quality assurance and control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Handle all local governmental and municipal approvals required for project operations and handover.
• Verify and control scope changes and their associated costs.
• Manage project invoicing and final accounting.
• Monitor and mitigate project risks continuously.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 15 years' experience in interior fit-out contracting.
• Strong technical, operational execution, and commercial skills with in-depth knowledge of trades involved.
• Demonstrated success in project management leadership within fit-out contracting.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, adept at operating within multicultural environments.
• Preferably holds a university degree in a technical field.
• Experienced in managing project teams effectively.
• Capable of managing single or multiple projects from award through various phases until handover.
• Well-acquainted with the KSA market, including networks of clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Proven history of successfully handling projects in hospitality, high-end residential, palaces, F&B, retail, entertainment, health, and education sectors.
• Up-to-date with market trends and able to contribute innovative ideas to enhance company presence and brand.
• Fluent English communication skills suitable for multinational environments.
