Senior Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee luxury 5-star hotel construction projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on managing all phases of high-end hotel development from design through handover, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complete delivery of luxury hotel construction projects, ensuring they meet approved budgets, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
• Supervise all project stages including design coordination, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and final handover.
• Collaborate seamlessly with clients, consultants, operators, designers, and subcontractors to fulfill project goals.
• Oversee the implementation of premium architectural finishes, MEP systems, furniture, fixtures & equipment (FF&E), operating supplies & equipment (OS&E), and luxury hospitality standards.
• Continuously track project schedules, control costs, monitor productivity, manage risks, and allocate resources, taking corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, local regulations, health, safety & environmental policies, quality standards, and hospitality brand requirements.
• Lead regular project meetings, prepare executive-level progress reports, and foster strong relationships with all stakeholders.
• Handle commercial and contractual issues including variations, claims, and change orders effectively.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to multidisciplinary project teams to guarantee successful project completion.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Have at least 18 years of experience in the construction industry, including a minimum of 8 years managing luxury 5-star hotel or hospitality projects.
• Demonstrate a proven track record delivering upscale hotel projects with top international or GCC mega contracting firms.
• Possess in-depth expertise in luxury hotel construction, premium finishing works, MEP coordination, FF&E integration, project scheduling, cost management, contract administration (especially FIDIC), and commissioning.
• Exhibit strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience working on internationally branded luxury hotels such as Waldorf Astoria, Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Fairmont, Marriott, Hyatt, Kempinski, or similar is highly advantageous.
