Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead diverse projects primarily focused on Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Network domains. This role involves collaborating closely with clients, third-party stakeholders, and our internal teams to deliver exceptional project outcomes. You will also manage budgets effectively and employ your commercial skills to handle contractual agreements efficiently.

Applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible for the necessary security clearances such as baseline or NV1 due to client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project scoping and planning activities to set clear objectives and deliverables.
• Manage project teams to develop tailored solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Continuously monitor and address stakeholder expectations, project risks, and issues throughout the project life cycle.
• Ensure compliance with project governance and provide timely reporting.
• Manage invoicing and all related billing processes professionally.
• Offer mentorship and support to members of the project management team.
• Promote and adopt Agile methodologies using standard tools and frameworks.
• Adapt to varying roles within Datacom as needed to align with business demands and broaden expertise across areas.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing projects at a senior level.
• Demonstrated success in delivering IT infrastructure projects end-to-end using Agile practices; experience with Waterfall is advantageous.
• Relevant experience in leading cybersecurity projects or programs and infrastructure transformations is highly desirable.
• Proven ability managing technology projects across extensive infrastructures and business applications, with preference for managed services or enterprise-level environments.
• Strong financial management skills including budgeting and handling commercial contracts within projects.
• Exposure to project invoicing is beneficial.
• Excellent leadership capabilities with experience guiding project teams.
• Proficient in managing enterprise customer relations, senior stakeholders, internal technical teams, and external vendors.
• Skilled in project reporting, risk management, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, ServiceNow, or equivalent project management and reporting tools.
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are considered an advantage.
