Senior Project Manager

Role Overview

This position involves overseeing AI infrastructure and GPU cluster projects throughout all phases, including planning, scheduling, monitoring progress, and ensuring full delivery success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning and execution for AI infrastructure and GPU cluster initiatives.
• Establish project scope, define milestones, deliverables, clarify roles and acceptance criteria, and create comprehensive project plans.
• Manage critical path activities, resource allocation, dependencies, risk mitigation, and issue resolution while ensuring responsible parties respond promptly.
• Collaborate with AI infrastructure teams, data centers, vendors, and NVIDIA ecosystem partners for seamless project progress.
• Monitor hardware procurement, transportation, installation, rack setup, power, cooling, cabling, networking, and other infrastructure readiness.
• Facilitate project meetings, lead system integration efforts, validate clusters, conduct performance testing, troubleshoot problems, and manage project transition to production operations.
• Regularly report project status, milestones, and risks to customers and management, supporting on-site delivery across the APAC region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in technical project management or delivery, with expertise in handling scope, schedule, milestones, risks, issues, and stakeholder engagement.
• Fluent in Chinese and English, capable of leading meetings, conducting business communications, and preparing documentation in both languages.
• Experience coordinating across multiple departments, companies, or geographic regions, effectively driving internal teams, clients, and vendors toward successful project completion.
• Ability to comprehend AI infrastructure designs, implementation strategies, and test outcomes, then translate them into actionable plans.
• Strong ownership and results-driven approach with capability to manage several projects simultaneously; familiarity with tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

• Experience with data centers, GPU clusters, high-performance computing (HPC), cloud computing, or AI infrastructure projects.
• Background working with cloud service providers like AWS, Oracle, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud, or in joint projects involving these entities.
• Collaborative experience involving NVIDIA Cloud Partners (NCPs), NVIDIA Partner Network (NPN), OEMs, system integrators, and data center operators.
• Knowledge of servers, GPUs, DPUs, storage devices, and other data center hardware.
• Understanding of hardware deployment lifecycle, network/storage integration, system validation, performance testing, and production handover.
• Proven track record delivering multi-vendor, multi-site, and international infrastructure projects.
• Relevant project management or Agile certifications like PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, CSM, or PSM.
• Data center certifications such as ITIL, CDCP/CDCS, Uptime Institute or NVIDIA AI Infrastructure credentials.
• Cloud infrastructure certifications from AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Oracle Cloud (OCI).
