Senior Project Engineer – Transformer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer specialized in Transformers to manage all phases of transformer-related projects including design, manufacturing, transport, installation, testing, commissioning, and on-site execution. This role demands comprehensive project oversight, close collaboration with clients, technical guidance, resource management, budget control, and successful timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams through all stages of transformer projects.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and fulfill client requirements.
• Supervise transformer assembly, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and activities at the project site.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, production, supply chain, and quality assurance departments to guarantee project success.
• Promote ongoing improvements, optimize resources and provide technical support.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required; diploma holders with significant relevant experience may be considered.
• 8 to 10 years’ experience in power transformer services covering design, erection, testing, and commissioning.
• At least 5 years of leadership or managerial responsibility in transformer projects.
• Expertise in transformer troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root cause investigation.
• Experience managing transformer projects in a manufacturing environment.
• PMP certification and familiarity with MS Project and MS Office are advantageous.
