Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Product Manager to join our vibrant team, bringing strategic insight and proven experience driving impactful product initiatives from ideation through launch. You will guide product development efforts to align closely with market demands and boost user engagement.

Key Duties

• Lead strategic initiatives that significantly impact Deputy's product lineup and business direction.
• Inspire teams with a definitive and engaging product vision.
• Craft and execute strategies that position our products uniquely and competitively in the marketplace.
• Ensure cohesive alignment across diverse teams and departments to accomplish key strategic objectives.
• Develop scalable solutions addressing complex product challenges to guarantee lasting success.
• Utilize advanced analytics to make informed strategic decisions and uncover growth potential.
• Mentor junior product managers and team members to cultivate continuous professional growth.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders to maintain transparency and effective collaboration.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks through innovative problem-solving.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines; MBA or higher degree preferred.
• 6–8 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years in senior or leadership roles, ideally within SaaS environments.
• Advanced skills with product management platforms such as JIRA, Confluence, and Aha!.
• Proficient in market research, competitive analysis, and technical system comprehension.
• Comfortable interpreting API documentation, handling REST APIs, and collaborating with software engineers.
• Detail-oriented with a curiosity-driven approach to navigating complex scenarios involving payroll, awards interpretation, and edge cases.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills to transform ambiguous compliance and product issues into actionable plans.
• Balanced product mindset focusing on both technical depth and customer benefits, particularly in scaling compliance complexities into product features.
• Prior knowledge or willingness to learn about payroll systems, employment legislation, awards, EBAs, and pay compliance is highly valued.
• Self-motivated, inquisitive, and adaptable to fast-paced, evolving requirements.
