Job description
About Plexus
Plexus is revolutionizing legal operations by enabling in-house legal teams to automate and scale legal workflows across enterprises efficiently, at reduced cost and risk. Serving industry leaders such as Coca-Cola, Nike, L'Oréal, PepsiCo, Woolworths, and Asahi, Plexus's platform boosts productivity by 65%. We are neither a law firm nor a conventional software company; we are building innovative solutions to transform legal processes.
Role Overview
As Senior Product Manager, you will take full ownership of core products in our agentic portfolio—from defining the roadmap and discovery phases to overseeing delivery. You will collaborate closely with Engineering and applied AI experts to convert complex legal workflows into reliable agent behaviors. Additionally, you will coordinate with Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure successful go-to-market strategies and adoption.
Key Technical Expertise Required
- Advanced knowledge in AI orchestration including planning, reasoning loops, multi-step workflows, and decision-making logic for agents.
- Expertise in tool and function calling comprising input/output structuring, chaining of calls, and managing failure scenarios.
- Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques, including retrieval pipelines, chunking, embeddings, and grounding outputs in source documents.
- Proficiency in defining and implementing evaluation and guardrails such as agent quality measurement, human-in-the-loop reviews, and audit trail maintenance.
- Skilled in making trade-off decisions balancing reliability, latency, cost, and user experience, including real-time technical discussions with engineers.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 3 years' product management experience within 6–8 years total in diverse backgrounds such as engineering, applied AI, consulting, or legal fields.
- Demonstrable hands-on or closely related experience with AI and large language model (LLM) products, preferably agentic systems or applications utilizing RAG and tool usage.
- Strong user interface and user experience sensibilities, taking ownership of design decisions, not merely requirements documentation.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to define meaningful metrics prior to development, instrument tracking, and use evidence to guide product iteration.
- Comfortable engaging with customers directly, crafting user stories, assessing evaluations, and shaping marketing messaging within fast-paced environments.
Performance Metrics
- Complete ownership of product roadmap within 90 days.
- Achieve live design partner accounts within 6 months.
- Establish a robust agent quality benchmark, targeting 50% zero-touch acceptance rate.
- Drive significant product adoption at scale by 12 months.
Unique Opportunity
This role offers a rare chance to lead a cutting-edge product in a market-leading company, with genuine decision-making authority rather than just advisory involvement.
