Position Summary

As Senior Product Manager - Platform, you will oversee critical services foundational to Delinea's platform capabilities, including policy management, workflow orchestration and approvals, inbox, and notifications. These elements constitute the platform’s core decision-making and communication layers, dictating access permissions, approvers, notification procedures, and audit visibility. Your leadership will define the strategy and connect directly with customers and internal teams.

Primary Responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers such as security architects, IAM administrators, approvers, and auditors to validate ideal experiences for policy authoring, approvals, and notifications.
• Develop a clear vision for shared services and effectively communicate it to customers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with internal business units to understand their plans and constraints and design services that they willingly adopt.
• Work in partnership with engineering, design, and architecture teams from the inception of a problem through to product launch.
• Stay updated on developments in policy-as-code, workflow orchestration patterns, and event-driven architectures, incorporating relevant innovations into the product roadmap.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related fields preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in customer-facing product management, particularly focused on platform services or foundational capabilities.
• Strong grasp of platform product management principles such as multi-tenancy and API-first design.
• Experience with shared-service domains like policy engines, policy-as-code, or workflow orchestration systems.
• Understanding of security, compliance, and auditing needs in enterprise workflows and approval processes, including separation of duties and audit trail requirements.
• Proven success in launching platform features and fostering adoption across multiple product teams.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and event-driven, microservices architectures.
• Background in identity security, privileged access management (PAM), or broader cybersecurity sectors is advantageous.
• Professional certifications such as Pragmatic Marketing or Scrum Product Owner are beneficial.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills paired with a collaborative and curious mindset.
