Senior Product Manager, Google Cloud Compute

About the Role

Join Google as a Senior Product Manager in Bengaluru, leading innovative cloud compute services. You will work cross-functionally to take technical products from initial concepts through to successful market launches, impacting millions of users globally. This role focuses on managing Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) and related compute offerings, enabling seamless migration and integration of VMware applications to Google Cloud's AI-powered infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and scaling of customer experiences that facilitate smooth migration of mission-critical workloads across diverse infrastructure platforms.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary product and engineering teams across Google Cloud Platform organizations to align on product goals and roadmaps.
• Analyze partner relationships and industry trends to identify innovation opportunities in workloads and hardware.
• Use data-driven approaches to prioritize engineering efforts and optimize return on investment.
• Engage with peers across all levels of the cloud technology stack for cohesive product execution.

Minimum Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of eight years in product management or related technical roles.
• At least three years managing technical products through full lifecycle—from ideation through launch.
• Three years' experience developing and launching products in cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools, or supply chain domains.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with cloud services and infrastructure.
• Proven track record in cross-functional collaboration and influencing executive stakeholders in global environments.
• Expertise in hybrid cloud architectures, especially VMware technologies and Google Cloud Platform, including Google Cloud VMware Engine.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to drive initiatives and influence decision-making across teams and leadership levels.
• Excellent storytelling and narrative abilities to encourage product usage, adoption, and market momentum.
