About the Deployment Technology Team
The Deployment Technology team revolutionizes how Workday products are delivered and managed, aiming to minimize deployment time, costs, and complexity while expediting customer value. They develop cutting-edge solutions such as generative AI tools, intelligent automation, reusable configurations, Skills, MCP, and platform services, enabling implementers, consultants, partners, and customers to streamline deployment and maintenance for faster adoption and agile change management.
Role Overview
The Senior Product Manager will define product vision and strategy within critical areas of the Deployment Technology portfolio, managing roadmaps and prioritizing initiatives to ensure effective execution aligned with long-term goals. This role involves substantial cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, customers, partners, and internal teams to foster adoption and refine solutions through data insights and experimentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy for prioritized segments of Deployment Technology.
- Manage the product roadmap, coordinating priorities across integrated features to deliver customer value.
- Adapt plans responsively to customer feedback, usage data, technical developments, and evolving strategic landscapes.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to balance product trade-offs and ensure quality delivery.
- Engage with strategic customers, partners, and implementers to validate challenges and craft impactful solutions.
- Lead efforts to drive product adoption within customers, Workday Professional Services, and partner networks, facilitating enablement and overcoming obstacles.
- Define and monitor metrics related to product usage, adoption, and outcomes to guide product decisions.
- Steer development of AI-powered deployment capabilities, including Skills, MCP-based tools, intelligent automation, and agentic workflows through experimentation and validation.
- Represent Deployment Technology at senior stakeholder meetings, customer forums, and partner discussions.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to other Product Managers, aligning initiatives with overarching strategies.
Qualifications
- At least six years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS, platform solutions, or software products.
- Demonstrated expertise in shaping product strategy, prioritizing complex roadmaps, and managing competing business needs.
- Proven track record of leading products or major features from concept to launch, adoption, and subsequent evolution.
- Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams on sophisticated technical products.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership without direct authority.
- Strong customer engagement skills and excellent written, verbal, and executive communication abilities.
- Experience driving product adoption and enablement within enterprise technology contexts.
- Familiarity with partner ecosystems, Professional Services, or large-scale enterprise implementations.
- Understanding of AI product development, including AI agents, MCP, Skills, APIs, automation, and evaluation frameworks.
- Capability to distill complex technical concepts and link product decisions to tangible business results.
- Experience mentoring and elevating product management teams and overall product quality.
- Comfort navigating ambiguous, fast-changing environments using experimentation and customer insights for direction.
Compensation and Work Flexibility
The position offers a base salary range between €86,400 and €129,600 annually for Ireland-based candidates. This role may also qualify for bonus plans and stock refresh grants. The company supports a flexible working model combining remote and in-person interactions, with an expectation to spend approximately half of the time quarterly engaged onsite or with customers, promoting community and productivity.
