Role Overview

The Senior Product Manager for the AI Platform at DISCO spearheads the strategy and execution of centralized AI infrastructure. This position leads a dynamic team in Gurugram and collaborates internationally with US-based teams to build innovative and reusable AI services that empower various legal product outcomes. By bridging technical research with production implementation, the role focuses on aligning customer requirements and business objectives to define the AI foundation's product roadmap. The manager takes full ownership of the platform’s performance, delivering strategic clarity to stakeholders worldwide while ensuring scalability, defensibility, and cost efficiency in the technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the AI platform investment plan to support AI capabilities integration across all DISCO products, partnering closely with engineering on technical strategies and priorities.
• Manage delivery by collaborating with the Gurugram engineering team to convert technical research into production-level services swiftly and effectively.
• Work with engineering and product leaders to prioritize and implement plug-and-play infrastructure services that unblock feature development teams.
• Drive adoption of platform services company-wide, measuring success by improvements in legal technology efficiency and cost savings.

Candidate Profile

• At least 5 to 8+ years of product management experience with a strong record in scaling internal platforms for enterprise-wide use, especially managing backend systems, developer platforms, or complex AI-driven features.
• Proven B2B platform strategist who can convert complex stakeholder needs into a clear roadmap with measurable outcomes.
• Outcome-focused leader able to break down complex challenges into achievable goals, consistently prioritizing speed and return on investment over technical perfection.
• Experienced in global collaboration, adept at autonomous work and asynchronous communication across significant time zone differences (CST to IST).
• Knowledgeable in technical discussions about Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), model lifecycle management, and vector database architecture, with a strong user-impact orientation.
