Job description

About the Role

This opportunity is offered on behalf of a partner company seeking a Senior Product Analyst located in the United Arab Emirates. The position emphasizes an autonomous analytical perspective within a product team focused on features such as matching, messaging, relationships, and AI-driven user experiences.

You will collaborate closely with product managers and senior leaders to assess the effectiveness of product initiatives and prioritize investments that yield significant impact.

Moving beyond basic dashboard creation, this role entails designing rigorous experiments, questioning assumptions, analyzing irregularities, and translating complex datasets into actionable insights that guide product decisions.

You'll contribute to building a unified measurement system encompassing acquisition, retention, reactivation, churn, and other critical business metrics.

The position merges advanced product analytics, statistical experiment design, business acumen, and strong product intuition.

You will enjoy considerable independence to uncover growth avenues, formulate hypotheses, and drive initiatives through to measurable results.

This is a fully remote position ideal for analytical professionals who thrive on ownership, critical analysis, and data-driven product influence.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end design and execution of product experiments, including formulating hypotheses, determining test duration and sample sizes, evaluating feasibility, conducting A/B tests, assessing statistical significance, and interpreting outcomes.
  • Integrate product metrics from various domains into a cohesive measurement framework linking key company metrics to acquisition, retention, reactivation, churn, and other business drivers.
  • Serve as an independent analytical voice ensuring product decisions rely on solid evidence rather than intuition.
  • Spot high-impact growth opportunities where modest investments or changes boost key metrics significantly.
  • Align product metrics with business goals, estimates, and expenditures, monitoring results to detect early deviations from targets.
  • Work closely with product managers to generate, prioritize, and validate product hypotheses.
  • Analyze anomalies and unexpected metric changes to uncover root causes and flag potential product issues early.
  • Evaluate product efforts relative to wider business goals and provide clear data-backed insights on priority and expected effect.
  • Continuously enhance analytical processes, methodologies, and workflows by finding chances for improved rigor and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in product analytics, preferably in environments handling large or complex data sets.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in mathematics, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Solid practical understanding of mathematical statistics and probability theory.
  • Demonstrated expertise designing and implementing A/B tests, including test sizing, statistical validation, and result interpretation.
  • Proficient in SQL and Python for data extraction, processing, analysis, and visualization; familiarity with Superset is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of product and marketing metrics such as Lifetime Value (LTV), Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), retention, and conversion rates, including their connections to overall business performance.
  • Strong product-oriented thinking with an ability to interpret user behaviors underlying quantitative data.
  • Highly autonomous and accountable, capable of independently identifying growth prospects and driving initiatives to measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, including the ability to challenge assumptions, verify data integrity, and validate analytical conclusions.
  • Strong communication skills suitable for clearly explaining complex analytical findings and structuring recommendations around quantifiable impacts.
  • Experience with social products, dating platforms, gaming, or multi-sided marketplaces is considered a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with recommender systems is beneficial.
  • Previous work with data-intensive, high-volume products is preferred.

Benefits

  • This is a fully remote, full-time position.
  • Annual entitlement of 28 calendar vacation days plus 7 additional wellness days that can be used for personal, household, or recovery reasons.
  • Referral bonuses up to $5,000 for successful employee recommendations.
  • 50% financial support for professional training, attendance at international conferences, and participation in professional events.
  • Corporate discounts for English language courses.
  • Health-related benefits provide up to $1,000 gross yearly reimbursement for self-purchased health insurance or eligible medical expenses for employees and close family members if corporate medical insurance is not accessible.
  • Workplace assistance including provision of necessary equipment and access to office or co-working spaces where eligible.
  • Remote employees can claim reimbursement up to $1,000 gross once every three years for costs related to coworking, home-office setup, internet, and related workspace expenses.
  • Participation in an internal gamified recognition program offering rewards redeemable for merchandise, team events, massages, and other perks.
  • Salary or compensation details are transparently shared with candidates during recruitment and prior to employment commencement.
