Senior Principal GPU Verification Engineer

Overview

The role requires leading the verification efforts for intricate GPU IPs and subsystems to ensure their functional accuracy, design performance, and first-silicon validation success in collaboration with global architecture and design teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement comprehensive verification plans targeting GPU IP segments such as vector graphics, shader cores, memory interfaces, and cache systems.
• Construct scalable verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM, emphasizing reusable components like agents, monitors, and scoreboards.
• Design models to simulate GPU command handling, memory operations, and cache coherency protocols.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less-experienced verification engineers.
• Take ownership of complete IP verification processes through to formal sign-off.
• Oversee regression testing cycles and promptly resolve failures.
• Maintain and analyze coverage data to ensure thorough verification closure.

Required Expertise and Qualifications

• Minimum of 13 years’ experience in a related field.
• Proficient in SystemVerilog, UVM, and Verilog languages and tools.
• Solid grasp of functional verification methodologies.
• Expertise in SVA-based assertions and coverage analysis.
• Skilled in troubleshooting complex RTL and verification environment bugs.
• Familiarity with Formal verification techniques is an advantage.
