About the Role
Join Insignia Financial as a Senior Platform Engineer and contribute significantly to building and maintaining the platforms that support the enterprise technology ecosystem. Positioned within the Infrastructure, Cloud & Workplace team, you will focus on designing, automating, and enhancing cloud-native platforms, developer tools, and containerized services. This role is hands-on and centers on developing secure, scalable, and highly resilient solutions that underpin essential business and customer-facing applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain cloud-native platform services, container orchestration environments, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation tools.
- Lead strategic platform projects including cloud migrations, upgrading Kubernetes platforms, adopting Infrastructure-as-Code methods, and fostering self-service developer platforms.
- Enhance platform reliability through implementing observability, monitoring, logging, alerting, automation, and continuous service enhancement.
- Incorporate secure-by-design principles ensuring all platform services conform to security, compliance, resilience, and governance standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers while advocating for best practices in cloud, automation, and platform engineering.
- Work collaboratively with Architecture, Cyber Security, and delivery teams to produce scalable, dependable, and compliant technology solutions.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 7 years' experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering in extensive enterprise settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps workflows, and contemporary CI/CD tooling.
- Proven track record delivering platform modernization initiatives such as cloud transformations, container platform implementations, and infrastructure automation projects.
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Elastic, or comparable tools.
- Strong scripting and automation proficiency preferably using Python, Bash, Go, or related languages.
- Experience with large-scale configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills capable of influencing technical decisions, mentoring colleagues, and translating complex technical details into actionable business outcomes.
