About the Company and Project
Mace combines expertise in construction and consultancy to unlock potential in every individual and project while pushing the boundaries of ambition. The company fosters values that guide their consulting approach and the type of professionals they recruit.
This role involves contributing to a significant mixed-use development in Riyadh comprising over 200 projects, including cultural and heritage assets, food and beverage outlets, retail and hotels, commercial offices, and educational institutions. Mace is providing program management services and is seeking highly qualified and experienced candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of planning and scheduling methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Utilize sound knowledge of project controls including Earned Value Management.
- Effectively communicate with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
- Interpret complex requirements and offer comprehensive analysis along with corrective actions.
- Manage and mentor teams responsible for planning and schedule management services.
- Support clients in confidently adopting planning proposals and recommendations.
- Perform tasks essential to achieving project and assignment goals.
- Promote excellence in planning and project controls in line with Mace’s standards.
- Collaborate towards achieving net zero carbon objectives and actively manage related carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- A relevant degree is required, with preference for chartered membership or recognized professional certifications.
- Membership or candidacy with professional bodies such as APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA, or their equivalents.
- Demonstrated experience managing residential or infrastructure projects within a project management office (PMO) setting, possessing strong competence in handling complex programs and schedules and converting data into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of interacting effectively with clients, teams, and senior management.
- High attention to detail, supported by construction-related qualifications or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Must satisfy visa requirements for Saudi Arabia and show relevant experience on high-value projects or programmes for project management consultancies, necessary for immigration and client approvals.
