Key Responsibilities

• Develop the Contract Baseline Schedule and any Revised Schedules coordinating with the project team across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning phases.
• Support the Lead Planner during project initiation by preparing reports and registers to enforce procedures for controlling planning and scheduling, tracking progress, and reporting.
• Review schedule updates prepared by planners and coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate progress tracking and monitoring of the project timeline.
• Collaborate with the Project Controls Manager to alert management about any deviations or delays from the approved schedule.
• Assist in claim preparation and extension-of-time submissions using suitable delay analysis techniques.
• Work with the Project Controls Manager to prepare weekly and monthly reports, budget plans, and maintain comprehensive planning documentation.
• Participate in regular project meetings to communicate schedule status, log changes or deviations, and assess their impact on the overall timeline.
• Carry out any additional related duties as assigned.

Candidate Qualifications and Expertise

• University degree in Engineering.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in construction, with a focus on Engineering and Procurement phases.
• Track record working on EPC projects valued over US$100 million, including direct involvement in Engineering and Procurement, preferably with ADNOC or equivalent.
• Prior employment with reputable EPC contractors is highly advantageous.
• Ability to function effectively under pressure.
• Strong expertise in project planning, delay analysis, and schedule risk assessment.
• Comprehensive understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases.
