Senior Partner Manager - Channels (Security)

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Partner Manager to lead and accelerate growth initiatives with our premier Security-focused channel partners throughout the APAC region. The primary aim is to cultivate channel and alliance partnerships that stimulate new customer acquisition and revenue growth. In this capacity, you will manage Datadog’s strategic partnerships by evaluating partner business health, identifying growth strategies to enhance returns for both partners and Datadog, and uncovering opportunities to position Datadog as the preferred observability and cloud security platform within your partner networks, programs, and contracts. This role offers the chance to contribute to the expansion of a rapidly growing cloud software firm.

Responsibilities

• Manage top-tier cloud security channel partner relationships.
• Drive new sales and expansion revenue via established strategic cloud security partners.
• Identify, recruit, and onboard new security-aligned partners consistent with Datadog’s Ideal Partner Profile.
• Manage the Datadog Partner Agreement process in collaboration with legal teams as necessary.
• Collaborate with partners to create insertion points including joint solution and service offerings.
• Enable partners by delivering training, planning, and co-selling initiatives.
• Coordinate technical and marketing elements for integrated partnership launches.
• Conduct periodic business reviews to ensure accountability and track success metrics.
• Generate partner-originated pipeline and revenue growth.
• Provide transparency on variable commission structure totaling 40% of On Target Earnings.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of quota-carrying partner management experience within cyber security and/or cloud security SaaS domains.
• Demonstrated success in driving sales from lead generation through closure, negotiating agreements, and nurturing enduring partnerships.
• Familiarity working with leading cloud hyperscalers.
• Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and architectures, effectively communicating them orally and in writing.
• Willingness to travel 30-40% as part of the role.
