Job Overview
This position is for a Senior Observability Engineer specializing in trading systems within a leading FinTech firm based in Singapore. The role offers a lucrative salary range between SGD 400,000 and 500,000. The successful candidate will monitor and optimize a complex infrastructure using several industry-standard observability tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage observability solutions to monitor extensive infrastructure effectively.
- Maintain and configure monitoring tools such as VictoriaMetrics, Prometheus, Grafana, Vector, ELK stack, and AlertManager.
- Work closely with Linux systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams using Git and Python for automation and system integration.
Skills and Requirements
- Strong expertise in Linux operating environments is essential.
- Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, VictoriaMetrics, Vector, ELK, and AlertManager for monitoring and alerting.
- Proficiency in Python programming for scripting and automation tasks.
- Familiarity with Git version control system.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes is highly advantageous and will be considered a strong plus.
