Senior .NET / .NET Core Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Developer skilled in .NET and .NET Core to develop robust enterprise-level applications. The role involves working extensively on backend services, influencing architectural decisions, and ensuring high standards of code quality and system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and sustain efficient APIs and services using both .NET Core and .NET Framework technologies.
• Manage data modeling, optimization, and integration tasks using MS SQL and MongoDB databases.
• Develop background job processing systems and messaging queues utilizing RabbitMQ.
• Produce code that is clean, maintainable, and amenable to testing.
• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, DevOps, and quality assurance teams to deliver seamless solutions.
• Engage in code review sessions and technical conversations to uphold code quality and best practices.
• Analyze system requirements thoroughly and organize development priorities effectively.
• Ensure that applications maintain scalability, security, and optimal performance at all times.

Requirements

• A minimum of five years' hands-on experience in C# programming within the .NET ecosystem, including both .NET Core and .NET Framework.
• Strong expertise in MS SQL Server focusing on query optimization, stored procedures, and indexing strategies.
• Proven production-level experience with MongoDB database systems.
• Familiarity and experience with RabbitMQ for messaging and asynchronous communication.
• Experience in asynchronous programming techniques and implementation of background services.
• Knowledgeable in designing RESTful APIs and microservices based on modern architectural patterns.
• Solid grounding in Object-Oriented Programming, software design patterns, and architectural principles.
• Experience using Git for version control as well as proficiency with CI/CD workflows and tools.

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or closely related fields.
• At least three years of professional experience in a related technical domain.

Skills and Additional Expertise

• Strong proficiency in English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
• Technical proficiency in .NET/.NET Core frameworks, JavaScript, Git, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and RabbitMQ.
• Good understanding of OOP concepts and design pattern implementations.
• Excellent problem-solving aptitude and time management capabilities.

This position is based on-site at Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
