Senior Mobile Engineer (iOS)

Role Overview

Join an innovative team at Snoonu as a Senior Mobile Engineer specializing in iOS development. You will create new product features, engage in technical backlog planning, and participate in a Scrum-like agile process while collaborating closely with team members and utilizing English for daily communication. Your contributions will have a meaningful impact on the product's evolution.

Project and Team Details

• The current app iteration was launched from scratch in Q3 2021, using a modern technology stack.
• Development is entirely in Swift, supporting iOS 14 and above.
• Codebase is structured into multiple modules managed with Tuist.
• Experimentation with SwiftUI is actively encouraged.
• The team follows a trunk-based development methodology.
• Open to exploring new technologies like Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features for product teams.
• Participate in technical backlog prioritization and development planning.
• Collaborate within an agile, Scrum-like environment, incorporating feedback iteratively.
• Communicate effectively in English within the team and wider organization.
• Contribute to the product’s development value and technical excellence.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• At least 3 years of experience developing native iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
• Strong understanding of Swift and Objective-C fundamentals, including standard collections, multithreading, and memory management.
• Proven capability in crafting precise, pixel-perfect custom UI components.
• Familiarity with Clean Architecture principles.
• Solid knowledge of HTTP protocols and networking concepts.
• Proficient with Git for version control.
• Good grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) design patterns.
• Intermediate English language proficiency—comfortable reading job descriptions and discussing work experiences without additional aids.

Preferred Additional Experience

• Writing unit tests to ensure code quality.
• Hands-on experience with trunk-based development workflows.
• Knowledge of the VIPER architecture pattern.
• Experience working with networking libraries like Moya and Alamofire.
• Familiar with continuous integration (CI) setup and configuration.
• Exposure to Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform development.
