About the Role
We invite a talented Data Engineer to join us in supporting the expansion and maintenance of our ETL ecosystem at Snoonu. Your daily duties will involve incorporating new data sources and enhancing existing infrastructure to manage batch and streaming data pipelines effectively. Collaborating with growing teams, you will enable smooth data workflows and help maintain high data quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Incorporate additional data sources into current batch and real-time ETL workflows.
- Develop real-time data pipelines using infrastructure-as-code methodologies.
- Assist the Business Intelligence team by addressing data anomalies and ensuring data integrity.
- Support internal teams in extracting and utilizing data from the company warehouse.
- Participate in ETL system migrations to reinforce performance, consistency, and scalability.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong programming capabilities, including proficiency with multiple languages or Python frameworks.
- Experience working with open-source data tools such as dbt and Airflow.
- Advanced SQL knowledge, with expertise in subqueries, window functions, and common table expressions.
- Solid understanding of computer science principles, including design patterns, network protocols, and database architecture.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS and GCP, messaging systems, object storage, and query engines.
- Familiarity with Databricks, delta tables, and PySpark technologies.
- Either experience with or eagerness to learn infrastructure as code tools, particularly AWS CloudFormation.
