Role Purpose and Responsibilities

The Senior Merchandiser will play a vital role within the sales team to optimize PepsiCo products' shelf presence across all assigned retail outlets. This role includes the execution of in-store sampling and promotional activities when required. Compliance with planograms for shelf and off-shelf displays is essential, and any deviations must be promptly reported to the preseller.

• Visit specified outlets daily as per the journey plan given by the supervisor.
• Merchandise PepsiCo snack and beverage products at various access points such as shelves, stands, and floor displays within designated stores.
• Place point-of-sale (POS) materials appropriately next to PepsiCo displays.
• Ensure full adherence to approved planograms across all access points.
• Apply FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory rotation and remove any products that do not meet quality standards.
• Maintain shelves with clean, fresh stock of PepsiCo products at all times.
• Observe and report on competitor activities in the market.
• Report any violations of agreed terms with assigned retail outlets immediately.
• Submit daily reports of previous day's activities to the supervisor.
• Engage actively in sampling or redemption campaigns when needed.
• Uphold professional appearance and conduct consistent with the Frito Lay code of ethics.

• Standards of execution in merchandising.
• Enforcement of Lost Time Accident (LTA) policies.
• Adherence to the daily journey plan.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Possession of a valid driving license.
• Strong service orientation towards customers.
