Senior Maximo Consultant

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned IBM Maximo Senior Consultant with over 8 years of experience to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This role involves overseeing the configuration and upkeep of the IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS), aimed at enhancing asset management operations. The position demands a blend of technical proficiency and a thorough understanding of asset management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the setup and customization of MAS modules covering asset management, work management, inventory control, and predictive maintenance.
• Adapt and tailor MAS workflows, reports, and integrate with other enterprise systems as per client-specific needs.
• Manage system integrations using Maximo Integration Framework to ensure smooth data exchange with other applications.
• Optimize system performance by troubleshooting issues and recommending enhancements to improve maintenance and asset performance.
• Engage with business stakeholders to analyze needs and propose MAS-based solutions that maximize asset efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Deliver training and continuous support for MAS users, swiftly resolving technical challenges.
• Handle ongoing maintenance, including updates and major version upgrades, to keep MAS up-to-date with new features.
• Document all configurations, customizations, and integration processes comprehensively.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or similar fields.
• Extensive experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite and Maximo Asset Management (version 7.x or newer).
• Hands-on expertise with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
• Proficient in core MAS modules such as Asset Management, Work Management, Inventory, Predictive Maintenance, Maximo Mobile, Health, Monitor, Visual Inspection, and Reliability Centered Maintenance.
• Strong skills in configuring and customizing Maximo modules to suit business requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of IBM Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) for third-party system integration.
• Solid background in system administration, Maximo workflows, and scripting.
• Competent in SQL database management and report generation.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving capabilities coupled with strong troubleshooting experience.
• Effective communication skills enabling collaboration across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• IBM Maximo Application Suite certifications.
• Experience deploying solutions on IBM Cloud or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with predictive analytics within asset management contexts.
• Background in industries like utilities or infrastructure management.
