Role Overview
The Senior Manager, Total Rewards is responsible for overseeing the complete management of the organisation's compensation and benefits programmes, including specialized support for executive compensation frameworks. Reporting directly to the Head of Rewards, this role involves implementing the total rewards strategy across all employee groups, from broad-based staff to executives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual salary review process, manage merit increases, bonus allocation, and support managers through data preparation and system configurations.
- Assist in modeling executive compensation scenarios, long-term incentive plans, and peer benchmarking using external executive survey data.
- Prepare confidential materials and presentations for the Remuneration Committee and Board meetings.
- Engage in compensation and benefits surveys, align internal job roles with market benchmarks, and maintain competitive pay structures and salary bands.
- Validate short-term and long-term incentive payouts per governance policies and company performance metrics.
- Manage benefits programmes, including daily administration, policy adherence, enrolments, and claims resolution.
- Liaise with insurers and vendors on plan renewals, service agreements, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure data accuracy within HRIS platforms, provide regular analytics, cost modeling, and reporting related to compensation and headcount spend.
- Act as a subject matter expert for complex reward-related queries, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and consistent policy application.
- Support internal and external audits, maintain policy documentation, and uphold reward governance frameworks.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or relevant discipline.
- At least 5 years of practical experience managing Total Rewards or Compensation & Benefits in a corporate setting, with executive compensation or Remuneration Committee exposure deemed beneficial.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and complex formula construction.
- Experience working with enterprise HRIS and compensation management systems.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore’s employment legislation and remuneration regulations.
- Additional certifications like Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) are advantageous.
