Role Overview

We seek an experienced engineering leader to guide multiple software teams developing groundbreaking Workforce Management and Time & Attendance solutions at Amazon scale. This position is crucial to the operational backbone of Amazon, where you will define a long-term technical vision and ensure engineering excellence, driving impactful results for employees worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft and maintain a comprehensive multi-year technical roadmap aligning software architecture with strategic business objectives and user demands.
• Lead, mentor, and grow software development managers and senior engineers, fostering an inclusive, career-focused culture emphasizing operational discipline.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and senior cross-functional teams to prioritize projects across accessibility, AI-driven experiences, and spatial computing.
• Develop and enforce engineering standards and scalable processes for quality assurance, operational efficiency, and superior customer experience.
• Plan organizational growth through resource allocation, staffing strategies, talent assessments, and succession plans to support sustainable development.

About the Team

The team delivers technology that enhances the daily experience of Amazon’s global workforce. TimeHub systems provide crucial data for labor planning, productivity assessment, payroll, and finance, evolving to support Amazon's rapid global scale and complex multi-stack architecture. Maintaining accuracy and compliance in this system is vital due to its widespread impact on pay, regulatory adherence, labor relations, and operational continuity across 60+ countries with diverse labor laws.

Basic Qualifications

• Over 10 years in engineering roles.
• At least 5 years managing engineering teams.
• A decade of experience in planning, designing, developing, and delivering consumer-facing software.
• Proven collaboration with product or program management.
• Experience supervising multiple projects and development teams within Agile frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with designing and building large-scale, high-traffic applications.
• Strong partnership experience with product and program management.
