Role Overview
This position is the analytics authority for Quality and Continuous Improvement (CI) across the EMEA region. The role involves designing, developing, and enhancing EMEA-wide performance analytics systems and translating complex operational data into strategic insights that aid senior leadership decisions. It bridges the gap between business stakeholders and data by defining key performance metrics, measurement methods, and interpretation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and ownership of the EMEA Quality & CI KPI framework, including metrics, hierarchies, calculations, and data lineages across business units.
- Standardize KPI definitions such as Customer Claims, First Pass Yield, Cost of Poor Quality, Warranty, Voice of Customer, and Supplier Quality for consistent EMEA-wide benchmarking.
- Develop the analytics roadmap, incorporating advanced analytics, process mining, and AI techniques to enhance value.
- Architect robust, scalable, and accurate data models to support EMEA Quality & CI reporting.
- Produce and present monthly operating review analytics to senior leadership, converting data into narratives, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Business Unit Quality leaders to establish predictive analytics and leading indicators to promote proactive quality management.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of quality trends, warranty events, and supplier performance to uncover systemic problems.
- Advise senior leaders including Directors and Vice Presidents on performance improvement priorities based on data findings.
- Develop Power BI dashboards and reports to serve as authoritative sources for EMEA Quality & CI performance.
- Specify data pipeline and integration needs involving systems such as SAP, Snowflake, and others.
- Evaluate and implement process mining technologies (e.g., Celonis) to identify inefficiencies in quality processes.
- Drive automation to cut manual reporting efforts by 50% within a year.
- Create reusable templates, calculation methods, and empower self-service analytics for the wider Quality team.
- Manage data governance frameworks including data ownership, refresh schedules, validation, and exceptions for Quality & CI data.
- Maintain data quality standards and address discrepancies across source systems.
- Lead the development of 8D maturity tracking methodologies including scoring and reporting dashboards.
Required Expertise
- Advanced Power BI skills including complex DAX formulas, data modeling, row-level security, and deployment pipelines.
- Strong SQL experience covering query optimization, stored procedures, and complex joins on large datasets.
- Knowledge of data modeling and warehousing concepts such as star schema and fact/dimension tables.
- Experience using process mining tools, preferably Celonis.
- Familiarity with SAP data modules related to Quality Management (QM), Materials Management (MM), and Sales and Distribution (SD).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps for automating workflows.
- Programming skills in Python or R for statistical and analytical purposes.
- Experience working with cloud data platforms like Snowflake.
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications for quality analytics, including anomaly detection and predictive modeling.
Functional Experience
- 10 to 15 years in data analytics, business intelligence, or performance management roles.
- Proven ability to design KPI frameworks and analytics architecture from the ground up.
- Experience advising and presenting to senior leadership at Director level or higher.
- Understanding of quality management systems, manufacturing KPIs, and principles of operational excellence.
- Experience in global matrix organizations, working across multiple time zones.
Behavioral Traits
- Strategic thinker able to interpret data to deliver meaningful business insights.
- Effective stakeholder manager skilled at presenting and influencing senior leaders without direct authority.
- Ownership mentality treating analytics platforms as products requiring continuous quality and improvement.
- Capable of clear and structured communication, simplifying complex analyses for non-technical stakeholders.
Educational Qualifications

- Master's degree or MBA is preferred.

- achievement of a 50% reduction in manual reporting workload.
- Establishment of a monthly operating review analytics cadence.
