Role Overview

The Senior Manager for Process Engineering Work Centre leads a team at the Limerick wafer fabrication site to safeguard operational safety and ensure excellence in quality, output, and technology management. This role covers a broad range of semiconductor technologies including precision analogue, CMOS, BiCMOS, bipolar, sensor, MEMS, and actuators.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance and proactive risk management.
• Manage product quality, process control, and defect reduction efforts through continuous evaluation and corrective actions.
• Guarantee delivery targets and enhance operational efficiency by optimizing throughput and productivity.
• Oversee equipment performance and utilization, coordinating with teams to maximize asset effectiveness.
• Support and guide the introduction and scaling of new semiconductor technologies into production.
• Lead and develop engineering personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
• Collaborate across departments to align on priorities, resolve challenges, and implement strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 13 years of professional experience including at least 6 years in leadership roles.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Semiconductor Engineering, or related area; advanced degrees preferred.
• Extensive background in semiconductor wafer fabrication and process engineering.
• Proven leadership capabilities in managing technical teams and driving organizational growth.
• In-depth knowledge of process control, yield, quality systems, and manufacturing operations.
• Experience with various semiconductor technologies such as analogue, CMOS, BiCMOS, bipolar, MEMS, and sensors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead transformational initiatives and nurture talent development.
