Senior Manager Cyber Security – IT & OT Systems

Role Overview

This leadership position involves managing comprehensive cyber security operations across both IT and OT domains, with a focus on safeguarding critical airport systems. The role demands steering security architecture, deploying robust technical controls, and ensuring alignment with organizational strategic goals.

Key Duties

• Manage cyber security activities across extensive IT and OT infrastructures including airport facilities, building automation, and cargo handling operations.
• Lead the Cyber Security Operations Center (SOC) encompassing incident management, digital forensics, threat intelligence gathering, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, and red team exercises.
• Develop and enforce security architecture and controls covering cloud platforms, networking devices, endpoints, and operational technology systems.
• Perform application security assessments, conduct risk analysis, and implement strategies to protect data and maintain compliance.
• Ensure cyber security initiatives are strategically integrated with business operations by collaborating with IT, operations, HR, and project teams to enhance overall security posture.
• Provide guidance and support on cyber security improvement projects, with special emphasis on OT systems enhancements.

Experience and Skills Required

• Expertise in overseeing large-scale IT and OT systems within sectors such as aviation, logistics, or industrial environments.
• Proven leadership skills in SOC management, incident response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and red teaming activities.
• Strong technical competence in forming and deploying security architecture across cloud, network, endpoint, and OT domains.
• Capability to conduct application security reviews, risk mitigation, and enforce data protection measures.
• Strategic mindset with effective stakeholder management and the ability to align cyber security priorities with business strategies.
• Relevant experience engaging cross-functional teams and contributing to cyber security projects, notably in OT systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• At least 10 years of overall professional experience in cyber security, covering both IT and OT environments.
• Substantial leadership exposure within SOC and cyber security operational roles.
• Preferred background in aviation, logistics, or large-scale industrial sectors.
