Hygiene Assistant II

Role Overview

As a Hygiene Assistant II, you will oversee and assist a team of cleaners to execute cleaning duties across all facility areas and equipment in line with Food Safety and hygiene protocols. This role operates under the supervision of Cleaning Agents, Team Leaders, or Shift In-Charges.

Key Duties

• Conduct cleaning of designated areas throughout the facility, including external and surrounding zones.
• Lead a group of Assistant I cleaners ensuring adherence to cleaning guidelines and standards.
• Handle and clean sophisticated machinery and sensitive production equipment safely.
• Maintain proper care and handling of cleaning tools and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or incidents.
• Comply strictly with Food Safety and Hygiene requirements.
• Use safety tools and equipment correctly to uphold workplace safety.

Qualifications and Skills

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills, with ability to communicate in English.
• Entry-level candidates with no previous work experience are welcome.
• Familiarity with safe handling of cleaning chemicals, machines, and tools.
• Firefighting skills are required.
• Preferably holds a high school certificate.
• Experience in general cleaning within flight catering operations or 5-star hotels is advantageous.
