Senior Manager - Cyber Security Engineers

Synechron is seeking a Senior Manager for Cyber Security Engineers based in Abu Dhabi. This full-time role focuses on banking sector cybersecurity, requiring 8 to 10+ years of relevant experience. Certifications Required

• Mandatory: OSCP or OSCE
• Desired: GIAC GPEN or GXPN
• Additional: GIAC GMLE or equivalent AI-security certifications
• Enrollment in Anthropic Cyber Verification Program for authorized offensive use of Opus 4.x
• CREST CCT preferred, especially for regulated banking environments

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Continuous Security Validation utilizing AWS Security Agent and AI-specific tools to monitor cloud infrastructure and model supply chains aligning with approved threat matrices.
• Take ownership of a 7-day Service Level Agreement for threat intelligence ingestion from MITRE ATLAS and OWASP LLM, automating operational updates via Jira within this timeframe.
• Centralize and handle all findings through DefectDojo and Attestation platforms, enforcing severity-based remediation turnaround times before redeployment approval and maintaining reporting dashboards in Power BI.
• Execute offensive security, blue-team validation, and continuous adversarial testing, transitioning from intermittent manual penetration testing to fully automated continuous control validation.
• Operate autonomous penetration testing tools such as AWS Security Agent and Horizon3, and conduct AI red-teaming using Garak, PyRIT, Claude Security / Opus 4.x, Codex, alongside designing tests for OWASP LLM Top 10 and MITRE ATLAS.
• Maintain clear distinction between first and second lines of defense (1LoD/2LoD), conducting control validation per approved threat scenarios, while leaving independent red teaming for the second line.
