Position Overview
Located in Ireland with offices in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, and Galway, this full-time senior management role within UKI AI & Data focuses on leading the delivery of data analytics solutions that add considerable value to clients' business operations. The role involves end-to-end project oversight, leadership of diverse analytics teams, and active engagement with clients to deliver impactful insights. Occasional travel for client engagements may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams with a variety of data and analytics skills and technologies.
- Manage entire project lifecycles for data analytics initiatives ensuring they meet business goals and schedules.
- Develop detailed project plans including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project budgets to ensure effective use of resources within financial constraints.
- Adapt leadership approaches to suit different teams, clients, and cultural contexts, proactively identifying risks and escalating issues as needed.
- Communicate regularly with client stakeholders to understand their data requirements and ensure project alignment.
- Foster a positive learning environment by coaching and mentoring junior team members.
- Collaborate across industries to leverage analytics to transform and improve client businesses.
- Generate innovative insights leveraging experience to benefit clients and society broadly.
- Drive operational efficiencies and ensure consistent, high-quality outputs on projects and internal activities.
- Contribute to the growth of the Data & Analytics team by building the brand, participating in events, and producing thought leadership.
- Build and nurture relationships internally and externally to identify new business opportunities with guidance from senior leaders.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree completed.
- At least seven years of professional experience in data analytics or a similar consulting role emphasizing project delivery and management.
- Proven track record leading cross-functional teams and managing complex analytics projects.
- Strong leadership skills including supervising and developing others, effective communication, and managing client expectations.
- Ability to explain technical analytics concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Commitment to continual professional development and skill enhancement.
- Strong analytical skills to incorporate new methods and deliver actionable insights.
- Experience working in diverse and dynamic client environments.
- Proficiency in analytics tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik for visualization; SQL, Python, R for programming; and cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Knowledge across data analytics lifecycle stages including strategy, ETL, analysis, and advanced techniques like machine learning and statistical modeling.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
- Enthusiasm for contributing to team growth and leading others with energy and courage.
