Role Overview
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on our Workforce Intelligence team, you will develop state-of-the-art algorithms and optimize business operations like capacity planning using advanced ML and optimization methods. Your innovations will power solutions impacting millions of users and contribute directly to our business growth. Key Responsibilities
- Transform data science models into scalable, production-grade, monitored, and dependable systems.
- Establish and maintain a reliable deployment infrastructure for workforce management optimization algorithms and machine learning models, adhering to MLOps best practices.
- Design, develop, and sustain ML models and optimization algorithms focused on demand forecasting, shift scheduling, and staffing efficiency.
- Work cross-functionally with Workforce Management teams to translate operational challenges into data-driven solutions.
- Build and enhance automation tools for the Data Science Tech Stack to improve MLOps pipelines including model deployment and data workflows.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive hands-on experience building and managing machine learning models and optimization solutions in production environments, with strong Python programming skills and cloud infrastructure proficiency, preferably AWS.
- Solid expertise in data engineering including data modeling, database technologies, and ETL process design.
- Practical and thoughtful application of AI-assisted development tools ensuring reliability and auditability in engineering work.
- In-depth knowledge of monitoring and logging frameworks to proactively handle operational issues in ML models and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with workforce management domains such as forecasting, capacity planning, or scheduling is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate effectively across teams.
