Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to remotely lead the full lifecycle of machine learning systems, from design and training to deployment at production scale. This role requires a blend of advanced machine learning knowledge and robust software engineering skills to manage models through research stages and large-scale inference.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, train, and deploy production-grade machine learning models.
• Drive architectural choices for training, evaluation, and inference pipeline development.
• Develop frameworks to evaluate model performance and monitor for drift.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to develop training data workflows and feature stores.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute actively to the machine learning community within the organization.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and integrate effective techniques into production environments.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in machine learning engineering with proven responsibility in production systems.
• Proficient in Python programming with extensive hands-on expertise in PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience deploying and training models at scale, including deep learning, large language models, or conventional machine learning methods.
• Familiarity with cloud-based ML platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Google Cloud Vertex AI, Databricks, or equivalents.
• Sound software engineering fundamentals including testing, code reviews, and system design principles.
• Proven record of delivering ML solutions that have created measurable business outcomes.
