  • Develop and refine automated training pipelines that minimize manual work and accelerate the transition from concept to model evaluation.
  • Scale and optimize the deployment of diverse ML models tailored to varying problem characteristics, shortening production timelines.
  • Enhance model quality assurance processes to expedite validation and detect data or distribution shifts effectively.
  • Handle various data types including LiDAR, aerial imagery, photogrammetry, and GIS data by creating scalable data pipelines for both training and deployment purposes.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting best practices in model training and robust software development.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven expertise in both machine learning and deep learning methodologies.
  • Solid background in software engineering principles and practices.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities applicable to novel and complex domains.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively across teams asynchronously on ambiguous problems.
  • Self-driven mindset with an eagerness to take ownership and proactively tackle challenges.

Benefits and Work Environment

  • Attractive and competitive remuneration package.
  • Meaningful employee stock ownership plan (ESOP).
  • Flexible working conditions with a fully-equipped office in Redfern, complemented by a diverse snack selection.
  • Regular social and professional office events.
  • Opportunity to contribute to an innovative and impactful product at the forefront of the energy industry.
