Role Summary

Join a highly driven cross-functional team focused on expanding Scalable Capital’s broker business. You will be involved in developing and maintaining one of Europe’s fastest-growing neo-brokers, utilizing cutting-edge technologies within a modern software development environment. Practices include agile methodologies, self-sufficient teams, continuous integration and deployment, automated testing, and cloud infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the growth and scaling of the broker platform.
• Develop new features and maintain high-quality software for the trading systems.
• Collaborate with team members across engineering, product, and other stakeholders effectively.
• Implement and uphold best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
• Participate in evolving cloud infrastructure and tooling.

Prerequisites and Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent qualification in computer science, engineering, sciences, or related discipline.
• Proven experience with Kotlin and Java development.
• Hands-on familiarity with technologies such as GraphQL, Docker, Spring Boot, AWS, and Terraform.
• Knowledge of GDPR compliance and security considerations is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical capabilities in both technical and product-related areas.
• Exceptional communication skills tailored for diverse audiences including engineers and product teams.
• Passion for crafting well-designed, testable, and well-documented codebases.
• Experience with domain-driven design, distributed systems, or microservices architecture is a plus.
• Background in the financial services industry is strongly preferred.
