Role Responsibilities

• Engage in the development and enhancement of critical clearing and settlement services utilizing Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate within cross-functional agile teams alongside experienced engineers, adopting practices such as Domain-Driven Design, code reviews, automated testing, and continuous delivery.
• Acquire skills in building and maintaining cloud-native applications on AWS, including containerized services via ECS and event-driven functions on Lambda.
• Contribute to dependable service delivery and operations through infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
• Produce secure, maintainable, and well-tested code with regular input and mentorship from the team.
• Participate in deploying robust, compliant financial workflows to production environments.
• Develop personal engineering expertise while supporting a team culture centered on quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Candidate Qualifications

• Possession of a university degree in computer science, engineering, sciences, or an equivalent qualification or practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with Kotlin or Java and Spring Boot, gained via internships, student roles, personal, or academic projects.
• Solid foundation in object-oriented programming, API development, relational database usage, and automated testing principles.
• Interest in Domain-Driven Design concepts and translating business needs into software solutions.
• Curiosity about cloud-native systems, distributed architecture, and AWS technologies.
• Focus on quality and security with capability to write clean, reliable, and maintainable code.
• Enthusiasm for understanding complex financial processes and eagerness to learn quickly.
• Effective communication, collaborative attitude, and receptiveness to constructive feedback.
