Senior Java Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Java Software Engineer with more than seven years of relevant experience specializing in Java development and microservices architecture. This position requires working from our Indore office five days a week and focuses on building efficient, scalable applications using modern development techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, test, and maintain robust Java applications.
• Design and develop microservices leveraging Spring Boot framework.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between services.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting application performance.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to produce reliable and effective solutions.
• Adhere to coding standards and implement best practices throughout development.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• At least 6 years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Proficient with Microservices architecture principles.
• Expertise in Spring Boot framework.
• Experienced in creating and consuming REST APIs.
• Good understanding of Hibernate or JPA technologies.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with Git version control system.
• Basic awareness of Docker and cloud service platforms is beneficial.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Exposure to messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is advantageous.

Educational Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.

Additional Information

This position is strictly based on-site in Indore with a mandatory five-day office schedule.
