Senior Java Software Engineer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer specialized in Java Microservices who is proactive, able to handle multiple tasks, and excels in a collaborative environment. This role involves leading development efforts in creating new software products as well as improving existing ones. The candidate should be proficient with large-scale application architectures and demonstrate strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable Java microservices code.
• Develop and maintain software components such as applications, database integrations, interfaces, and add new functional features.
• Collaborate across different teams to ensure alignment with business goals and regulatory standards.
• Assist in testing and deploying new software products and features.
• Engage actively in peer code reviews to maintain quality standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Have over 10 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Design principles, database architecture, SQL, and XML Schema.
• Hands-on experience working within Agile or Scrum development frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, organize workload, and set priorities efficiently.
