Role Overview

As a Senior Java Developer, you will join a Scrum team working closely with cross-functional members embracing Agile methodologies. Your contributions will influence technology choices and help produce maintainable solutions tailored to client needs. The role involves developing software primarily using Java on the AWS cloud while participating in other technologies within the project. Documentation will be created with end-users in mind.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

• Develop Java-based applications targeting user requirements on AWS cloud.
• Contribute to software development lifecycle activities from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Implement new or enhance existing microservices leveraging Spring Boot frameworks.
• Follow and help refine best coding practices and quality standards.
• Produce clear, user-focused technical documentation.
• Conduct unit and regression testing to ensure code reliability.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 5 years experience in Java development.
• Proficiency with Spring framework, including Spring Boot versions 1 and 2.
• Experience working with SQL databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Well-versed in all development phases from design through support.
• A strong commitment to developing quality code and following best practice standards.
• Ability to adapt to various project types and situations.
