Senior iOS Engineer

Job Overview

The Senior iOS Engineer is responsible for the complete development lifecycle of iOS applications—including designing, building, and maintaining robust Swift apps. This role requires integrating client applications with backend services, managing data persistence, diagnosing and resolving software defects, and overseeing build and deployment pipelines. The engineer will also enhance overall software quality through testing, code reviews, automation, and mentoring team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and release production-quality iOS features with clean, maintainable Swift code.
• Implement reliable client-side models and networking layers based on defined API specifications.
• Manage local data persistence using Core Data frameworks.
• Identify and troubleshoot app crashes and memory issues; optimize application performance.
• Implement security best practices including secure data storage and authentication methods to reinforce app security.
• Maintain CI/CD automation workflows, build signing procedures, and manage multi-environment app distribution using tools like Fastlane and App Store/enterprise provisioning.
• Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and backend developers to create accessible user interfaces using Auto Layout.
• Participate in thorough peer code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Integrate analytics instrumentation for monitoring app usage and informing product decisions.

Required Experience and Education

Candidates should possess a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field. The role is best suited for professionals with up to two years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills Required
