Job Overview

A leading luxury fashion retail group in the UAE is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to strengthen their internal audit function. This role involves ensuring thorough auditing of systems and processes, assessing compliance levels, and highlighting any risk management shortcomings to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with audit leadership to execute audits with high standards.
• Perform audits covering systems and operational procedures to evaluate degree of compliance.
• Lead the creation of an Annual Controls Review plan by identifying and assessing key audit risk areas within the organization.
• Collaborate with management to finalize audit scope and develop detailed audit plans based on the annual audit schedule.
• Oversee audits assigned to ensure their effective implementation and management.
• Review and assess the effectiveness and sufficiency of internal controls, including areas vulnerable to fraud risks.
• Verify adherence to the organization's policies, procedures, and industry best practices.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA/ACCA/CPA) or MBA with Finance specialization.
• Additional certification such as CIA or CFE is a plus.
• At least 5 years of internal audit experience, specifically within the Retail or E-Commerce industry.
• Strong understanding of retail and e-commerce business operations.
• Advanced skills in data analytics and hands-on experience with prominent analytics tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with strong interpersonal abilities.
