Senior Interior Designer

Overview

Focal Buildings Solutions (FBS) seeks an experienced and imaginative Senior Interior Designer to enhance its Design & FF&E Department in Riyadh. This role requires a professional who combines a sharp design sensibility with comprehensive technical expertise to oversee projects from initial concepts through to final approvals.

Key Duties

• Steer the concept and schematic designs aligning with client needs and brand identity.
• Develop functional space planning, zoning, furniture arrangement, and innovative design solutions.
• Review and validate reflected ceiling plans (RCP) and lighting layouts.
• Create concept presentations including 3D visuals and bidding documents.
• Conduct preliminary cost feasibility studies and collaborate closely with Cost Control and Project Management teams.
• Manage client requirement documents, requests for information (RFIs), design submissions, and approval processes.
• Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Interior Designers, 3D Visualizers, and Junior Designers.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Between 5 and 7 years of pertinent experience in interior design and project execution.
• Demonstrated history of managing and delivering successful interior design projects.
• High competence in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Lumion software applications.
• In-depth knowledge of materials, specifications, detailed design, 3D modeling, and rendering techniques.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English languages, including written and oral communication.
• Strong leadership capabilities, excellent coordination and communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
