Position Summary

The Senior Informatica MDM SaaS Developer based in Chennai works hybrid with 4 days in office each week. This role entails end-to-end software development lifecycle involvement, including architecture design, coding, testing, and deployment, focusing on full-stack capabilities with user interface and server-side development.

Core Responsibilities

• Engage closely with clients to comprehend use cases, challenges, and requirements to promote user-focused software solutions.
• Address complex development challenges through innovative design and execution using diverse frameworks, languages, and agile methodologies.
• Analyze software needs to select suitable technologies, integration patterns, and deployment strategies.
• Develop high-level architectural designs detailing structure, components, and interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including product owners, designers, and architects.
• Establish software testing strategies and processes aligned with organizational and industry benchmarks.
• Continuously optimize application performance and adopt new technologies to enhance development efficiency.
• Implement security measures safeguarding user data, including encryption and anonymization.
• Create intuitive, interactive front-end interfaces and develop server-side backend APIs and microservices.
• Incorporate emerging technologies and stay involved in advancing new software stack layers, fostering industry collaboration.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficient in SaaS solutions, Master Data Management (MDM), and Java programming.
• Preferred knowledge of Informatica platform.
• At least 6 years in IT with a minimum of 4 years focused on software development.
• Ability to practice advanced coding skills in multiple programming languages or expertise in one language.
• Bachelor's degree in any specialization.

Additional Responsibilities and Domain Expertise

• Design and configure business entities, relationships, and field groups within the Informatica MDM SaaS Multidomain/C360 application.
• Apply cost-effective design strategies to optimize Informatica Processing Units (IPUs) usage and manage Managed Record limits through data filtering and archival solutions.
• Configure and tune AI-powered match models using CLAIRE and rules to establish golden record survivorship and trust.
• Develop data ingestion and integration pipelines utilizing CDI (batch processing) and CAI (real-time), choosing optimal integration patterns based on latency needs.
• Implement Cloud Data Quality rules for data profiling and cleansing to maintain high data value and control SaaS licensing expenses.
• Translate legacy IBM MDM data models into the Informatica SaaS business entity structure.
• Set up governance workflows including change request and approval procedures within the SaaS framework.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs for data synchronization while managing API call volumes to minimize overhead.
